AVG receives PC Answers Recommended award
AVG 8.0 Internet Security has received a Recommended award from UK magazine PC Answers. The review highlighted AVG's excellent threat detection, the high quality of the anti-spam module, lightning fast rootkit scanning, and the suite's robust firewall.
What particularly impressed PC Answers was the ease of use of the software, including AVG 8.0 Internet Security's new interface – giving it the full 5 marks out of 5.

AVG Technologies will tomorrow release AVG Anti-Virus Free 8.0, the latest version of the company’s popular and widely-used free security software, which now incorporates protection against spyware through a new combined anti-virus and anti-spyware engine.
