Please note that only as a registered user you will have access to all virus database updates, all product updates and upgrades corresponding to your respective editions, technical support for the duration of the license period.
Non-registered AVG users are asked to register their product.
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition users are encouraged to use the FAQ section available on the AVG Anti-Virus Free Editionwebsite.
Attention!
Customers purchasing their AVG software in the Element5 on-line shop are registered automatically and do not need to register again.

Otherwise you can register your AVG product:
- On-line at the AVG Technologieswebsite
- Through an Authorized AVG Anti-Virus Reseller, Distributor or Partner from whom you purchased your AVG product
- By fax on +420 549 524 391
To register your product, please go to the registration page.
There please enter your AVG License Number and press Continue. You must complete the online form in order to register.
It is necessary to enter the License Number correctly including hyphens.
Please note that any changes in your registered data (email address, name, etc.) should be sent to AVG Technologies' Customer Services.
The problem is probably caused by the fact that you are still using the AVG Sales Number, which is valid for 30 days only.
Please activate your current AVG product on your computer using the that you obtained after the registration:
- Run AVG by clicking on the AVG icon on your desktop or in your system tray bar.
- From the Help drop-down menu select Reactivate.
- Enter your license number in the License Number field and click on Activate.
- Please use the copy and paste method instead of typing the AVG License Number to avoid any possible mistakes.
