My Trial license ran out before the end of its 30 day period. What happened?

If the AVG Trial version is displaying that it has already expired, the AVG Trial program was probably installed on the computer before, or the system date has changed since installing AVG.

We suggest you check your system date. System date can be checked this way:
- Start -> Control Panel -> Date and Time
Please select the correct date and click the OK button to confirm.

How can I convert my AVG Trial version into a full license?

You can convert your 30 day AVG Trial version into the corresponding full version of AVG software by following these steps:

Run AVG by clicking on the AVG icon on your desktop or in your system tray bar.
From the Help drop-down menu select Reactivate.
Enter your new purchased AVG License Number in the License Number field and click on Activate.

To convert your AVG Trial version into a different full version of AVG software, kindly follow these steps:

Download the latest installation file of your purchased AVG product from our website.
Run the downloaded file and choose the Add/remove components option.
Then replace your Trial License Number with the newly purchased AVG License Number.

Please note: It is necessary to enter the AVG License Number correctly. We recommend that you use the copy and paste method instead of typing the AVG License Number to avoid any possible mistakes.

I am a Trial user of AVG. How can I contact support?

If you use the trial version of AVG, you are entitled to obtain AVG technical support for the duration of your Trial AVG license (30 days).

You can contact our Technical Support Team:

Directly from AVG 8.0 software (AVG -> Help -> Get Help Online).
Your AVG License Number as well as other details will be filled in automatically.
From an interactive web form.
You will need to fill in the correct AVG License Number and other details.

To obtain technical support, you will need to provide the Trial License Number of your AVG product. This can be found under the License component of the AVG program window (double-click the License component)
